Cancelling Campaigns In Campaign Designer

You can cancel a campaign while it is running.

Cancelling a campaign has the following implications:

• Polling and event processing are stopped.
• The creative processing for that campaign is terminated after the current batch of recipients has been submitted.
• Any currently processing File Output actions will retain the partially generated output file in the staging area.
• Email element actions will send a request to abort the deployment.
• The creative output table will be truncated to contain only the recipients that were processed before the cancellation occurred, so that only these records will be added to the history table.

Procedure

1. In the Campaign View screen, search for and open the campaign you want to cancel.
2. The Campaign Designer screen opens, click the Cancel button .

Results

The campaign Status is set to Cancelled. You cannot restart campaigns that have been cancelled.
